FAQ’s – Artwork

What are your artwork requirements?
We require artwork to be supplied as PDFs, at 300dpi, in CMYK or Pantone (NOT RGB). All fonts must be outlined.

What is the difference between CMYK and Pantone?
CMYK stands for – Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Key (Black) and is a four colour printing process based on these colours.
Pantone, also known as PMS or Pantone Matching System, is a universal, standardised colour reproduction system.

My artwork is too large to email, do you have somewhere I can upload it to?
Artwork can be uploaded to the Regency Media FTP site if necessary. Delays are rare, but when they do occur, it is often the result of issues with artwork. For this reason, it is important to read our artwork guidelines and ensure you are using the correct template.
When your artwork is ready, please contact your sales representative for our FTP log in details to assist you in uploading your artwork. Please ensure all artwork files are labelled with the job name and indicate which component it is for.  For example: “My Band’s Demo CD – Disc face artwork”.

I need a barcode for my album, can you provide these?
Yes, through our design and marketing team, Kimchi Creative. We can supply the barcode graphic for you to insert into your artwork, or add the barcode directly into your artwork during pre-press production.
