CD – Disc printing (Disc)
The most important thing to remember when designing your CD disc print artwork is the stacking ring. All CDs must have a stacking ring so they stack properly in the replication machines. This ring is generally left clear of print, and this area is indicated on the template as a no print zone.
Good Design
We recommend a minimum font size of 6pt and a minimum gradient of 40% for CD printing due to the difficulty of printing on this porous surface (lacquer coating).
